A Different Tip For Action Takers

Look, it’s no secret that this economy is challenging entrepreneurs like never before. Even in the midst of the meltdown in 2008-2009, we didn’t see anything like this.  Between bank failures, economic worries, and the continued rise of rates, business owners seem to be frozen when it comes to simply taking action. 

Honestly?  I do understand, because as a business owner, I don’t want to lose money, either. 

Today, though, I want to share a simple tip that is sure to generate income for you and your team this week, no matter what your business model is…

Right now, I see far too many folks simply waiting for something to happen and making the excuse of “No one is doing anything.”

To me, that’s simply too passive and far too apathetic.

Let me ask you, if you had no choice but to make a sale today because your life depended on it, would you?

Could you?

Of course you would!

That’s why I’m writing this. You want to be the generator, the catalyst, for all the activities you can be. Not someone waiting around for clear signs from the stars!

You want to be the cause, not the effect. You cannot let whatever the excuses are – and there are always excuses available to us – make you a victim. When you make the choice to take action, you move immediately away from that victim mentality and into the power of a creative mentality.

Get it?

So today, I want you to start reaching out to every one of your clients to see how you and your company can serve them.

Whether your team is landscaping or digital marketing, chances are, a lot of the people you reach are trying to get their businesses or lives jump started, and with just a little creativity on your part, you can be the one who does it for them.

It might be as simple as making a referral or as complex as signing a long-term contract for new services, but whatever it is, you’ll never know if you aren’t doing something.

It might only be maximizing a product or service they are already getting from you, but it also open up the door for referrals, upsells, and cross-sells.

If you’ll only do this, you’ll be amazed at how your action is instantly creating more action.

Every one of those calls brings with it the chance for sales and more calls.

All brought about by your actions.

Isn’t that going to feel good? Let this be the week we all end this “victim” mindset that’s gripping the world and get this economy jumpstarted!
